Sometimes you connect songs with certain things that happened in your life and sometimes they are just background soundtrack to your life. That particular song was the soundtrack of a period of 3 or 4 months that used to be some of the roughest in my life. I think we all have those dark days and it’s great that there is music that actually can help you to move on and I still believe that music sometimes is a better medicine than all the pills and stuff you can buy.
I had this for hours on constant repeat. Just having that song as a background soundtrack, while thinking about life, people, the world and just questioning everything.
You can wake me up at 3 o’clock in the morning and I can tell you the whole lyrics, every break, every change of speed, just simply the whole song is burnt into my head.
The great thing about that song is, that it’s not a dark song that just worked as a mirror for me, it is a song that always gave me hope and was like the light at the end of the tunnel.
It’s great that there are bands or musicians out there with the ability to write songs that actually help people, give them hope and make their lives better.
