The writer of this contribution has been active in the (austrian) punk-scene playing, organizing and visiting punk-shows since over a decade. She is pissed off, of being asked WHY women* are underrepresented in punk bands – as the reasons are NEVER located in the male-dominated, masculinist hetero-normativity of the punk-scene, but always blamed on women* being too shy, lazy, un-musical or passive.
