worst show/club you‘ve ever played:
We’ve only played good shows with this band so far. As for our former bands a definite nightmare was one night in Nitra, Slovakia where FESTA DESPERATO played at the NaOZZaY venue. Zero promotion, the crowd consisted of the guys from BETON (a Slovak band we were on tour with), some old local guys sipping beer behind the corner where the noise wouldn’t disturb them and one wasted kid in a Sepultura t-shirt trying to bum drugs off us. Both of our amps proved unusable and the amp of BETON’s guitarist blew after some three songs. We had to finish our set playing through a 20W combo and the PA. We got like 1/3 of the gas money we needed, no drinks, no food and when we asked about the sleeping place the promoter disappeared and left us to sleep in the van/out on the freezing street. Later while trying to warm up at some boring ska-party someplace downtown (where apparently all the local punks would hang out that night) our friend got her backpack stolen with her keys and documents, everything. The next morning one of us got arrested for shoplifting while trying to cut down on expenses… Never again!
